Secretary’s Report – June 2024

A big Mahalo to those members who have renewed their dues for the 2024-25 Elk Year. We still have about 300 delinquent members, or about 6.5%, who have not paid. Grand Lodge sent out billing notices in February and a reminder notice out in May. If you have not received your billing statement, please contact the membership office. If for some reason you have decided not to renew your membership, please let us know. Now that we have reached our membership cap of 5000, we have about 150 candidates on a waitlist. This would enable some of those on the waitlist to join. As a reminder, make sure you notify the office if there are any changes to your address, phone or email. You should be receiving the weekly eBlast and the monthly Aloha Elk by email. If you still receive a hard-copy Aloha Elk via mail and would like to opt out for email only, please let us know. Due to both vacations and participation in the Grand Lodge Convention, our office will be short- staffed from June 28 through July 7. Thank you for your patience during that time.
