Secretary’s Report – January 2024

It’s dues renewal time again, watch your mail! This will be the third year that Grand Lodge will be sending out our dues renewals. You can expect to receive your renewal by the end of January 2024. There is no change in the dues and fees this year other than a $5 increase by Grand Lodge due to an insurance rate increase. Regular dues for the 2024-25 Elk year will be $400 and Life Dues (only if your current membership card shows 30 or more years membership) will be $65. All lockers, surf lockers and canoe racks are currently sold out, so please DO NOT PAY for any locker unless you currently have one. Call the office if you want to be put on a waiting list. If you have a locker and are not renewing, please empty the contents by April 1, 2024. If you are renewing your locker, keep your key card as we update the card each year. There is a $25 fee to replace lost key cards. Parking decals must be permanently affixed to the inside lower right side of the front windshield. If you sell your car or your windshield needs to be replaced, bring in your old decal for exchange. If you don’t bring in the old decal for exchange you will need to pay the full price for a replacement. Please let us know if you have changed your address since last year to avoid returned dues notices. With 5000 members, we will make every effort to get your membership renewal processed and new membership cards sent out within a few days of receiving payment.
