Exalted Ruler’s Report – December 2020

Aloha Fellow Elks,

Welcome to December, the “most wonderful time of the year,” as Johnny Mathis sings, the “hap-happiest season of all.” (Apologies to fans of the Andy Williams version.)

As we move through the season, let’s remember its spirit: Hope, happiness, love, and good will toward all. Our Lodge and Club
will be decorated with color and light, and when we meet there, let your light shine as well. As our chaplain Delorese Gregoire is
fond of saying, “be blessed to be a blessing.”

It is also appropriate that at the end of this most challenging year to remember and renew our commitment to each other, to our community, and to our country. Let us remember that we are bound together as American citizens who guide our course in life by the
cardinal principles of our Order: Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity.
