LODGE MEETING DECORUM AND DRESS CODE
The Lodge meetings held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month is not only a meeting but also a Ritual passed through generations of Elks, designed to honor, initiate and recognize the lodge’s members and to address the business of the lodge in an appropriate format. This year, I and the Lodge Officers will continue to embrace this tradition to include a dress code for all Lodge meetings.
Male members shall wear a collared shirt with long pants and shoes. Females shall wear blouses with long pants/slacks or dresses and appropriate footwear. The following clothing items are not acceptable: shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, blue denim jeans, slippers and barefooting.
All cellphones and electronic devices must be turned-off or on “manners mode” (vibrate only). I ask for your support in giving the Lodge Meeting the respect that it deserves.
Mahalo,
Andrew “Andy” Watson, Lodge ER/President
